School Site Council (SSC)
The School Site Council (SSC) is a decision-making body that represents all stakeholders in the school community, including the school Principal, Teachers, other school personnel, parents and students. Their primary responsibility is to identify common goals for student achievement and to assist the leadership team in developing a plan to achieve the goals.

School Site Councils operate under the direction and with the approval of the Board of Education. As the school leadership team and SSC develop, monitor and revise the Single Plan for Student Achievement, the SSC allocates resources to support the plan.

The School Site Council meetings for the 2007-2008 school year are as follows:

  • Wednesday, September 19, 2007 -- 2:15pm in Room T-4
  • Wednesday, October 17, 2007 -- 2:15pm in Room T-4
  • Wednesday, December 12, 2007  -- 2:15pm  in Room T-4
  • Wednesday, January 16, 2008  -- 2:15pm  in Room T-4
  • Wednesday, February 13, 2008  -- 2:15pm  in Room T-4
  • Wednesday, April 16, 2008  -- 2:15pm  in Room T-4
  • Wednesday, May 14, 2008  -- 2:15pm  in Room T-4
An agenda will be posted at least three days prior to the meeting date. All meetings are open to the public and we welcome your participation.
