In the past six years Southridge Middle School has gone from "underperforming" status to having met most Federal and State Accountability goals.  These results are due to the hard work of our students, families and staff members! 

 

For 2008, we saw an increase in both English-Language Arts and Mathematics scores for most student groups.  Additionally, we continue to close the achievement gap between student subgroups.  We're excited about these results, which have come about through rigorous analysis of student achievement data, instructional collaboration, and targeted interventions for struggling students.  For the 2008-2009 school year we continue to be committed to working collaboratively as a learning community, to ensure meaningful learning for all of our students in a safe, welcoming and nurturing environment!
