THINK Together
Southridge Middle School students are being offered the opportunity to attend the THINK Together After School Program which is being offered by the School District with our partner, THINK Together.

Students will receive the following benefits from enrolling in the program:
1. Daily homework assistance.
2. Daily, enjoyable, organized physical activity.
3. Enjoyable academic enrichment activities in literature/reading, math, science, and nutrition education – learning that is also fun.
4. Arts and crafts and other recreational activities.
5. Character education and leadership opportunities.
6. Opportunities to develop positive relationships with other students and adult program staff.

Each group of approximately 20-22 students will work with and adult Program Leader who has, at minimum, the qualifications of the Instructional Assistants who work in our district.

Spaces are limited and THINK Together can only admit students whose families commit to daily participation for the full program time and to full cooperation with the rules and regulations concerning student behavior, student pick-up, and son. In addition, a student’s admission depends upon availability of space in his/her grade level and the order in which applications are received.

The formal program ends at 4:45 p.m., and you may pick up your student at that time.

Students must:
1. Attend every day, from the time school is dismissed until 4:45 p.m. (Tues. thru Friday).
2. On minimum days, the program will also begin when school ends, but students may be picked up at 2:45 p.m. (Mondays).
3. Follow the program rules.
4. Behave respectfully towards other students and adults.
5. Participate in program activities.
6. Bring their homework!

Families must:
1. Pick up their student/s on time, in person, or designate another adult to pick the student/s up – students may not walk home alone, except by special arrangement.
2. Attend a parent meeting.
3. Sign a participation agreement – included in the registration form.
4. Support their student’s regular attendance and participation in homework time and other program activities.
5. Work cooperatively and respectfully with program staff.

Your student cannot be admitted to the program unless the registration form is completely filled out, including emergency contact information and signatures!

Registration forms are available in the Southridge Middle School office. Please return the registration form to Southridge Middle School.
